Actual Madrid star reveals taking part in Chelsea has made him ‘lose sleep’
Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos has admitted that the prospect of playing against Chelsea made him “lose sleep”.
In the Champions League semifinals last week, Los Blancos hosted Thomas Tuchels’ Blues, which turned out to be an extremely exciting encounter.
Although Real Madrid are consistently the better team, they have done well, staying relatively unscathed and 1-1 on the pitch.
A goal from Christian Pulisic in the first half would undoubtedly have raised immediate concerns as the Blues continued to be the greater threat.
However, with this week’s second leg approaching, midfielder Kroos has shown how difficult it is to play against the Premier League team.
Kroos on the biggest threat to Chelsea: “In my 15 years playing football, I’ve never lost sleep. They showed in Madrid that they play as a team. You have a German coach, that doesn’t surprise me. They defend well and are up front, these are their strengths. “#CFC #UCL #RMCF

Speaking to reporters, the German World Cup winner welcomed Chelsea’s ability to defend as a collective, but also to attack quickly.

With the help of fast-paced attackers like Pulisic and Timo Werner, Chelsea have been able to expose Real Madrid more than once and Kroos believe that this is their deadliest trait.
Both will collide again on Wednesday evening. However, after the Londoners’ decisive away goal last week, Real Madrid know they have to score at least once without a response to reach the famous final of this season.
