Arsenal midfielder has ambitions to succeed for Actual Madrid
While the prospect of representing Real Madrid is nowhere near irresistible, the prospect of representing Real Madrid is still difficult and reportedly loaned midfielder Martin Odegaard is struggling to do just that.
After signing for Real Madrid in 2015, the 22-year-old Odegaard took the Norweigan some time to find his way around, despite having arrived in Spain with a reputation for being the next big thing in football.
To continue his development, the young midfielder was loaned to Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal for a season last summer.
Although Arteta plays well and is apparently a well-designed member of Arteta’s team, speculation continues about Odegaard’s long-term future.
Recently, there have been suggestions that the Gunners might want to make the 22-year-old’s loan move permanent. However, if there’s a recent report from Eurosport, that’s bad news for Arteta.

Eurosport claim Odegaard sees his long-term future at Real Madrid and still has ambitions to shine for Los Blancos.
It was also found that, despite being a fan of Arteta, Odegaard was “not convinced” of the squad’s willingness to join the manager’s football vision.
Odegaard is expected to keep his options open until the season.
