Arsenal tipped to signal Mulder as Bellerin substitute
Arsenal have tipped them off to make a move for Sassuolos Mert Muldur if they sell Hector Bellerin this summer.
There has been a lot of speculation in the media in recent weeks that long-time Hector Bellerin could leave the club in this transfer window, with Inter Milan and PSG just two linked clubs.
That has sparked speculation in the media that the Arsenal board has an ideal replacement for the Spaniard in mind and has identified the exciting Tariq Lamptey as his long-term replacement.
However, journalist Ekrem Konur recently provided an update on Arsenal’s search for new players, claiming they will try to sign 22-year-old Muldur for £ 10m if they sell Bellerin.
He tweeted: “If Héctor Bellerín joins Inter, Arsenal will offer Sassuolo £ 10m for Mert Muldur, whom he has been following for some time.”
Has Arsenal been watching this player for a while, is he the right player to influence the club, is he ready for the Premier League? That’s the risk the club takes in choosing players who have a good season or two.
We believe Lamptey is the ideal man for Arsenal, yes he could cost a lot more money but ultimately there is a reason so many Premier League clubs are interested in a possible deal.
Muldur may be impressive in Italy, but the Premier League is way tougher than Seria A so he would struggle to influence the Gunners or the English game
