Barcelona edge nearer to Liverpool goal Renato Sanches
According to Fichajes, Barcelona may have found a way to get Liverpool target Renato Sanches through the door this summer.
Sanches, who was previously considered one of the most promising players in the world, dropped his standards after moving to Bayern Munich.
However, he did manage to gain a foothold in Lille, with his excellent performances for Portugal at Euro 2020 proving how far he has come.
Sportitalia reporter Rudy Galetti has previously claimed Liverpool are in pole position to sign Sanches this summer. After Gini Wijnaldum’s departure, they have to sign a central midfielder.
Le10Sport have sent Barcelona into the race to sign him but have claimed their financial troubles make a deal seriously unlikely.

Those who are pulling the strings at Nou Camp have obviously worked hard to come up with a workable solution and now, Fichajes says, they have done it.
The report claims that Barca would propose an initial loan to sign Lille’s Sanches, with a mandatory option to buy at a later date when they have the money.
Fichajes suggests that the 23-year-old would only become a serious target for Barca IF if they missed Atletico Madrid’s Saul Niguez.
However, it seems like they created a feasible contingency plan that could potentially take a blow to Jürgen Klopp’s preparations for the next season.
