Borussia Dortmund Giovanni Reyna leads a bunch of 4 People for the Golden Boy Award

Giovanni Reyna tops the list of four American players nominated for the Golden Boy Award, presented annually by Tuttosport to the best promising players in European football.

In addition to the attacking midfielder from Borussia Dortmund, the Americans Bryan Reynolds (AS Roma), Yunus Musah (Valencia) and Folarin Balogun (Arsenal) are on the list of 100 nominees for the Golden Boy 2021.
Reyna gained a starting position in Dortmund at the age of 18 and scored seven goals last season, while providing seven assists in 46 appearances in all competitions. The American also won the first trophies of his career by winning the Cup with the German club and the Concacaf Nations League with the US team.
This is the second time Reyna has appeared in the 100 nominees for the Golden Boy. He failed to reach the second filter of the award last year, which was later given to his teammate Erling Haaland.
