Chelsea endure switch blow as Juventus enter combine for highly-rated goalkeeper
Chelsea have been heavily linked with a move for AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma in recent weeks. However, according to reports in Italy, the blues could be missed if Juventus enter the race for the highly rated shot stopper.
It’s hard to forget that Donnarumma is only 22 years old.
After Donnarumma joined the AC Milan youth academy in 2013, he was represented in all competitions in no less than 247 senior team games.
Although he’s well on his way to becoming a club legend, concerns are growing that the talented young Italian might move on.
With his contract expiring at the end of the current season and no agreement has yet been reached on extending his stay, Rossoneri fans are sweating over their star’s long-term future.
Chelsea have been asked to lure the Italian from AC Milan as soon as the summer transfer window opened.
However, according to a recent report by Calciomercato, the 22-year-old’s future could be a little closer to home.
