Diallo to start out? Man Utd might line up in opposition to Actual Sociedad

Manchester United welcomed Real Sociedad to Old Trafford on Thursday with a 4-0 lead that will allow them to easily advance to the Europa League round of 16.

The Red Devils have seen mixed form lately but this game shouldn’t be a cause for concern for manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who can rest the players ahead of an important Premier League clash with Chelsea.

Expect the likes of Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford to sit out facing the game this weekend.

Youngsters Amad Diallo and Shola Shoretire were about to start for the club, but Solskjaer ruled that out in his last press conference.

Dean Henderson will take over the goalkeeping duties from David de Gea, who has been heavily criticized lately.

Full-backs Brandon Williams and Alex Telles, signed in the summer, line up to earn minutes instead of regulars Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Luke Shaw.

Meanwhile, Defense Center has been able to see a pair of Axel Tuanzebe and Eric Bailly, unless Solskjaer has slight doubts about his team’s qualifications and opts for captain Harry Maguire.

Donny Van de Beek is hoping for a full 90 minutes if he returns from injury in time, with few starts since joining from Ajax.

Juan Mata could be brought in to add some experience to the midfield.

Welshman Dan James had a long sideline break before scoring against Newcastle and should keep his place alongside Mason Greenwood, with Antony Martial in the lead.
