Gary Lineker praised Mason Mount after opening goal for Chelsea in the Champions League clash against Porto last night.
The 22-year-old was one of the blues standout, and he has stood out in particular since Thomas Tuchel took over as manager in January.
He scored a comforting goal in the 5-2 win over West Bromwich Albion at the weekend, where he was only substituted on in the second half.
The attacking midfielder continued his form with a great goal against Porto, where he fired his first shot after a clever turn.
The former English star became a popular expert. Lineker was full of praise for the blues star. Here’s what he posted on his official Twitter account.
He did it again. Great from @ masonmount_10. What a player.

Mount brought the Blues into the goal with the first shot of the Blues in the 32nd minute. Ben Chilwell doubled his lead with five minutes left when he pounced on a defensive mistake.
The win put the club in a prominent position to reach the semi-finals of the elite competition for the first time since the 2013-14 season.
Meanwhile, Mount has been in good shape lately. He has scored five goals for West London since early February.
The club’s immediate focus will shift to the London derby against Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Saturday night.
They lost their place in the Champions League to the Baggies defeat, but are still just one point behind fourth-placed West Ham United.
Their record against Palace has been great lately, having conceded three goals in the last six league meetings.
