Gary Neville feedback on the place Everton will end the season
Everton’s chances of playing European football next season were massively compromised on Monday after a 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace.
The Toffees had taken the lead from James Rodriguez in the 56th minute, only Michy Batshuayi’s 89th-minute equalizer denied them all three points.
A win against Palace would have brought them level with Liverpool with one game in hand. In the remaining nine Premier League games, they now need to secure a significant number of wins to play in Europe next season.
Being consistent has been one of Everton’s shortcomings so far this tenure, and Manchester United legend Gary Neville has expressed his displeasure with the lack of hunger.
When asked where Carlo Ancelotti’s men will end up in the table this season, the Sky Sports expert replied on Twitter as follows:
I turned them off. It annoys me that they keep failing each other in key moments https://t.co/mvbr9pio4B

Everton face Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal, West Ham United and Manchester City in their run-in and while these games are difficult on paper they have what it takes to score some valuable points.
Brighton, Aston Villa, Sheffield United and Wolverhampton Wanderers are games they should ideally win, but you never know which Everton will face them.
The Toffees will only blame themselves for not playing in Europe next season, and it will be interesting to see if they can finish the campaign on an impressive note.
