Haaland Sancho and Suarez function in Chelsea roundup
Tuchel gets transfer promise, Haaland wants massive contract, Luiz sends Barcelona message in Chelsea summary …
Chelsea target Erling Haaland reportedly want a £ 78m five-year deal.
Considered one of the best talents in world football and the man who will later become the best striker in the game, and has been linked with a transfer to all the biggest clubs in the games.
Chelsea apparently made Haaland their top transfer target ahead of the summer as The Blues gave everything for the Norwegian striker and Thomas Tuchel is apparently aiming for a new center forward.
According to reports on the Daily Express website, the 20-year-old now plans to secure a £ 78 million five-year package when he comes to England.
That’s the equivalent of at least £ 300,000 a week, a deal similar to what Raheem Sterling is currently making but less than City teammate Kevin De Bruyne and Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Haaland was always calm about his future, but gave a brief hint of these plans.
When asked about the number of teams interested in his services, Haaland replied: “It’s always nice when people want you.”
Look this is a lot of money to spend on the player but at the end of the day he is certainly a player who would be a great investment for Chelsea.
Chelsea boss Marina Granovskaia has apparently promised Thomas Tuchel that he will receive the same treatment at the end of the season.
Tuchel was brought into the club too late in the January transfer window to sign players and put his own stamp on the side, which means he’ll have to wait until the end of the season to get the players he wants and needs.
Timo Werner, Kai Havertz, Hakim Ziyech, Ben Chilwell and Edouard Mendy arrived for substantial fees ahead of the 2020-21 season, but Frank Lampard failed to get the most out of his players and was eventually sacked by the Blues Board.
According to the Sunday World, Granovskaia is now ready to spend £ 172 million on Borussia Dortmund duo Jadon Sancho and Erling Haaland.
Haaland and Sancho are considered two of the most exciting players in world football. They are very inclined to pack their bags and leave the German team during the summer transfer window.
Chelsea have been linked to both players for a while but haven’t been able to close deals as Dortmund didn’t feel like letting the players go but that could change this summer.
It is claimed that both players are ready to leave Dortmund in the transfer window and redeem their star duo for the right amount of money.
Shock Chelsea goal Luis Suarez has shown that the most disappointing aspect of his Barcelona departure was when the club said he was too old to play at the highest level.
Suarez has been in the media in the last few days after it was revealed that new Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel may be interested in bringing the veteran striker back to the Premier League this summer.
However, the 34-year-old Uruguayan is happy in his new surroundings, although he admits it was difficult to uproot his family, but still resent that he is being billed as too old by former club Barcelona
“What really bothered me was when they told me I was old and couldn’t play at a high level anymore [the task of fronting] A great team, ”Suarez told France Football. “That did not please me.”
Suarez claim his record stood up to scrutiny and the club were wrong about signing players who weren’t at the elite level.
“If I hadn’t done anything at a club like Barca for three or four seasons, I would have understood,” he said. “But every year I scored more than 20 goals a season at Barca. I’ve always had good stats, right behind Leo (Messi).
“Today we can see that it is not easy to play at Barca… A lot of the players who signed there did not have the level that was expected of them. I played at Barca for six years in order to maintain a certain level and do what was expected of me.
“At Barca, circumstances have changed, the club had to be changed. And I accepted it. The only thing that bothered me was the way [it happened]. I think I deserve some respect.
“It was a decision I couldn’t prevent. Feeling like I was no longer counted, I told myself with pride that I would continue to show what I was worth. That is why the idea of joining Atletico, a competitive team, appealed to me. “
Chelsea goal Jadon Sancho impresses, according to Hans-Joachim Watzke, CEO of Borussia Dortmund, without the pressure of transfer talks.
It’s no secret that Sancho was the number one transfer target for the top clubs during the summer transfer window, but no deal could be reached for the winger as his price was way too high.
Sancho got off to a slow start to the 2020/21 season after being heavily linked to a move to the giants of the Premier League but has started doing his best since the turn of the year.
The England international scored his 10th goal of the season in a 4-0 win at Schalke on Saturday and also set up one of Erling Haaland’s efforts. Watzke was happy that it showed its “unbelievable quality” again after a test phase.
Watzke said of Sport 1: “Jadon is doing very well at the moment, he’s back. But that was only a matter of time. All transfer talks in summer have already been forgotten.
“Edin [Terzic] talked to him a lot. Jadon has shown again in the last few weeks what incredible quality he has. We are very happy that he is playing for us. “
