How Manchester Metropolis may line up towards Wolves

Manchester City are now 12 points clear of the Premier League and will look to build their lead when they face the Wolves on Tuesday night.

City beat West Ham 2-1 at the weekend, while Manchester United’s 0-0 draw against Chelsea and Leicester’s defeat by Arsenal continued to play a role.

Pep Guardiola welcomed Sergio Aguero back to the starting grid in this clash. The Argentine returned a little over an hour after an injury and illness.

The No. 10 couldn’t find the net in the game, but the two goalscorers against West Ham should remain in position for this duel – Ruben Dias and John Stones in central defense.

Stones has been thriving in the last few months and is keeping Aymeric Laporte off the page. He added the third goal to his campaign, all of which had been scored in the last eight games.

Oleksandr Zinchenko has also seen a turnaround this season and should stay on the right, while Joao Cancelo will hope to be on the right instead of Kyle Walker.

Fernandinho started the last two games in the No. 6 but should make way for Rodri on Tuesday, with Kevin De Bruyne and Ilkay Gundogan likely to continue ahead of him.

City have the blessing of options up front and Guardiola could go on a very different front three than the West Ham game.

Phil Foden, Raheem Sterling, and Bernardo Silva could all get in the side. All three have scored in the last three games and emerged as Guardiola’s preferred front three in Aguero’s absence and poor form from Gabriel Jesus.

City has all but sewn the Premier League title but is looking to break even more records by continuing its winning streak, which currently stands at 14 Premier League games.
