Keane tells Spurs followers Kane fancies transfer to Man United

Roy Keane said he thought Harry Kane would envision a move to Manchester United in the summer transfer window.

Kane is currently dominating headlines for the past 24 hours after reportedly telling Tottenham that he would like to pack his bags and leave the club in search of trophies at the end of the season.

Spurs are now inquiring about replacement center forward. This is the first indication that the club is ready to take into account the feelings of their 27-year-old talisman.

Kane prefers to stay in the Premier League and would like his future to be cleared up before heading to England at the European Championships this summer in June

United, Chelsea and Manchester City are the three clubs most interested in a deal, but Keane has come out claiming that Kane might actually consider moving to Old Trafford if he leaves Spurs.

He told Sky Sports: “It is only natural for us to speculate on Harry Kane if Spurs doesn’t get into the Champions League. He must be frustrated.

“If they can’t get into the Champions League and obviously aren’t at the top end of the league, it’s only natural, from a selfish point of view, that Harry Kane has to consider his options – and he would have some great options because he’s a world class striker is and there are not many.

“… Kane has to look at this Manchester United team and think I could be the best man for Man United. Kane has to imagine a United move. I think Kane likes United.
“Man United have closed the gap with City and Kane would be a big step.”
