Leeds United followers recommend Tyler Roberts could possibly be leaving in January

Leeds United fans have been speculating on social networking website Twitter that Tyler Roberts may be leaving the club on loan this month.

Roberts wasn’t even in the squad for the trip to north London when Leeds lost 3-0 to Tottenham Hotspur.

After the game, Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa said he was “not available” without providing further details.

The 21-year-old has only made two starts for Leeds in the Premier League this season, while another six games came off the bench. He has yet to score or assist and many fans think it would be nice for him to get a loan move.

There are some fans who thought that Roberts could have picked up the coronavirus and therefore were not on the page.

Either related to COVID or he has a loan / transfer in series – if it is the later, do we sure have a replacement?

Loan for Roberts then? You take what he needs. I still think he can be good for us but needs a good head start for a club.

Some firepower was missing on the bench today. Not telling Roberts is the answer but needed an alternative today.

Roberts must be COVID related. You are not allowed to say whether a particular player has it or not. Probably the reason for the lack of detail.

Do you think Roberts is on loan, Phil? Any word about the grapevine?

I hope he gets a loan and that would be 1000% best for him

Tyler Roberts on loan?

Leeds once again had a lot of possession but they didn’t rock the Spurs defense.

Towards the end of the game, Leeds tried to create some good opportunities, but it could be felt that Spurs were pretty comfortable on defense.

While Roberts wouldn’t have made a huge difference if it had been introduced, it cannot be denied that Leeds needed alternative options in the attacking sector.

It will be interesting to see if Leeds have any plans to loan Roberts out at all.

Leeds do not have a big squad and have been unlucky with injuries so far. If they don’t have a replacement in mind, outsourcing Roberts is not a wise idea as he can be a very useful squad player.
