According to The Transfer Window’s podcast, Roma manager Paulo Fonseca has been offered both Tottenham Hotspur and Celtic.

The Portuguese leaves the Serie A team at the end of the season, with Jose Mourinho taking the lead.

The Special One was released from Spurs two weeks ago, and the North Londoners have already been linked with some names.

Fonseca is the newest, and it fits the bill as chairman Daniel Levy wants a young manager who loves to attack football.

Celtic is also looking for something similar in his next manager, and that’s why Eddie Howe was named a favorite to succeed Neil Lennon.

However, with the former Bournemouth not yet signed to the Hoops, Fonseca could be an option, although the finances involved could be an issue.

Leeds United were linked to former Shakhtar Donetsk boss over the weekend. Sportitalia television journalist Gianluigi Longari claimed they had recently contacted him.

Since Marcelo Bielsa has not yet signed a new contract on Elland Road, the Whites seem to be drawing up contingency plans.

It seems that Celtic and Spurs could now join them in the race for the 48-year-old, with Crystal Palace, Nice and Napoli also keeping an eye on him.

The Portuguese won three Ukrainian Premier League titles, three Ukrainian cups and one Ukrainian Super Cup with Shakhtar.

Fonseca also won the Portuguese Super Cup with Porto and the Portuguese Cup with Braga and he might like to prove himself in the Premier League.

In other news, Arsenal reportedly joined Spurs in the race for the Italian manager.
