Liverpool able to out-bid rivals with €40m switch supply for superb Wijnaldum substitute
Liverpool are reportedly ready to make a better offer than Juventus for the transfer of Sassuolo midfielder Manuel Locatelli.
The Italian international has shone in Serie A lately and has established himself as one of the best young players in Europe.
It could be that Locatelli is now heading for a big step, namely into the Premier League, as Liverpool are closely linked to him through Todo Fichajes.
Their report says the Reds might be willing to pay around € 40million for the 23-year-old, more than Juventus could afford.

This could be a significant step for Liverpool if they make it as the club need a quality signature in the middle of the park to replace the departing Georginio Wijnaldum.

The Dutch international was a hugely important part of Jürgen Klopp’s squad, but left when his contract expired to join Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer this summer.
With its intelligent pace of play and work, Locatelli could offer similar qualities in the midfield and could be a bargain with only 40 million euros.
