Liverpool make preliminary contact over switch transfer for star with €60m asking worth
Liverpool are reportedly already in contact about a possible transfer deal for Atalanta striker Duvan Zapata.
The 29-year-old has been in good form in Serie A lately and it seems the Reds are now pursuing a deal for him ahead of next season.
According to Todo Fichajes, Liverpool have taken an initial approach towards Zapata, which this summer has a price of around 60 million euros for the move.
Zapata could be a useful signing for Jürgen Klopp’s side at the moment after a major slip up in recent games.
Roberto Firmino was particularly poor and a move was certainly needed as, after several years of playing together, the teams seem to have figured out the excellent three fronts of LFC.
