Man United dealt blow as goal in talks with Atletico Madrid
Eintracht Frankfurt striker Andre Silva, previously linked with a move to Manchester United, is reportedly in negotiations with Atletico Madrid.
The 25-year-old Silva came to Frankfurt in 2019, initially on loan, before finalizing his move the following season with a deal worth just £ 2.7m.
Silva’s two years in the Bundesliga, which seem to have arrived in Germany to revive his career, did not disappoint.
This season in particular, the Portuguese striker has achieved excellent form.
After 31 games in all competitions this season, Silva has already scored an excellent 26 goals and nine assists.
The striker’s form was so impressive that he recently saw his name linked to a move to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Manchester United in the summer.
Despite positive news that Edinson Cavani could extend his stint at Old Trafford, the Red Devils have been dealt a blow following recent reports that Silva is in talks with Atletico Madrid.
According to Sky Sports Germany (as forwarded by AS) Atletico Madrid and Silva have had several discussions with the situation, which has been described as “very, very hot”.

According to reports, Silva has a minimum release clause in the order of EUR 30 million.
