Man United instructed that focus on Ben White will price £50 million
Manchester United have reportedly been warned that Ben White will cost £ 50m in the summer transfer window.
The 23-year-old Brighton defender had a good debut season in the Premier League this season and was rewarded for his form by replacing injured Trent Alexander-Arnold in England’s last 26-man squad for Euro 2020.
Brighton is unsurprisingly desperate to keep the Three Lions star beyond this summer, but it has sparked much speculation that United are keen to land a transfer deal.
However, Brighton is so desperate to keep White that the Seagulls put a £ 50 million price on the Dorset-born defender – and they won’t accept anything less for the man.
White is certainly a player who has proven himself in the Premier League and is now ready to take that step and join one of the biggest clubs in the Premier League.
United would be the idea for the player as he lacks quality at the back. But if the reports are true and Brighton doesn’t let him leave the club for less than £ 50m, he may be charged for moving to Old Trafford.
United won’t want to pay stupid money for the defender knowing there are other parts of the pitch that need to be sorted out first and spending £ 50m on White may be viewed as too much money.
But if you say that, it’s quality and would add a little more depth to this page.
