Man United issued message about doable signing Grealish
Jose Mourinho says Jack Grealish “knows where he is going” while Manchester United are interested in a possible deal.
Recent transfer reports have linked Grealish with a move to Chelsea, United and Premier League champions City, with Pep Guardiola said to be ready to break the UK transfer record to sign the £ 100m ace.
Grealish, who was compared to Luis Figo by Mourinho last week, told talkSPORT that he would like to play under the Special One one day at new club Rome.
Compared to the talkSPORT breakfast on Friday he said: “I think he knows where he is going. He knows the profile of the club who can buy him.
“My friend, [Aston Villa chief executive] Christian Purslow, knows the player’s potential and the player’s worth.
“Of course this is not for the Roma. When it comes to Italian football, it’s for another club, not for us. “
We all know United Grealish would love to sign in that transfer window, but unless they can raise the money to sign some sort of transfer deal, we can’t see him sign for the club.
However, he’s the type of player Solskjaer needs to sign that window as he’s a real statement of intent.
There will be a massive battle for his services and it will be very interesting to see where he lands.
