Man United nonetheless need defensive midfielder this summer time

Manchester United are still looking for a defensive midfielder this summer, according to the Telegraph.

The Red Devils’ previous transfer window was successful. Jadon Sancho was drafted by Borussia Dortmund, and as mentioned in the report, Raphael Varane is on his way.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer doesn’t seem to be completely satisfied with his squad yet. The Telegraph believes Man United are looking to bring on a new defensive midfielder.

Scott McTominay and Fred occupied the two pivot positions last season, but there are question marks as to whether they are both good enough to start for a team with title ambitions.
