Man United set David de Gea worth as he’s supplied to Europe’s elite golf equipment

Manchester United are ready to cut ties with goalkeeper David de Gea in the upcoming transfer window. The Spaniard’s agents are already looking for potential buyers as he prepares to leave Old Trafford.

David de Gea has been with the club since 2011 after traveling from Atletico Madrid for a record goalkeeper fee. At first he tried to keep up with the physicality of the people Premier League. But he was arguably the best goalkeeper in the league for the past decade. So far he has won the Premier League, the FA Cup and the Europa League with the Red Devils.

One of De Gea’s most memorable moments in a United shirt was a 3-1 win at Arsenal in 2017 when he made a whopping 14 saves, a shared record in the Premier League. He has remained clean 18 times that season and has been named to the Premier League team of the season.

But the 30-year-old has made some high profile mistakes in the past few years and has been subjected to massive scrutiny. And now he faces tough competition for the goalkeeper place with Dean Henderson. His future at United looks very bleak.

Henderson United’s new # 1?

David de Gea started the current season as the lead goalkeeper at Old Trafford. He started 24 of the first 26 league games and remained clean in 9 of them. He also played 5 games in the Champions League group stage. Dean Henderson, meanwhile, was number one in the cup competitions.

De Gea was unavailable at the time for family reasons and Henderson has represented him ever since. He should be back on the grid at the weekend against Brighton. But Henderson started again before him. And now the Englishman seems like the preferred option for manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Henderson have played three clean sheets in United’s last four games to claim the number one jersey. With a lot to prove at just 24, he’s an established goalkeeper after impressing on loan at Sheffield United last season.

As a result, De Gea is ready to start planning his career at United and his agents have started looking for potential applicants.

David de Gea’s future at Old Trafford is becoming increasingly dubious. And, according to the Daily Mail, De Gea representatives are offering their services to top European clubs before the summer transfer window.

Paris Saint-Germain are firm favorites to land him this summer and are discussing personal terms with the player. And United is also interested in outsourcing it at the right price.

But his astronomical wage of £ 375,000 a week could prove problematic for any potential applicant. He also has two years left on his current United contract, which will expire in June 2023. And United will be charging a fee on the order of £ 50m due to their relatively strong position.

Solskjaer still says both goalkeepers will have chances as the season progresses. He now has to decide whether to play against Granada against de Gea or Henderson on Thursday. This gives a clear indication of the situation.
