Palace star in talks with unnamed Champions League aspect
Crystal Palace are currently 13th in the Premier League table with 32 points and are not yet out of the woods to be drawn into a relegation battle.
Even so, Roy Hodgson’s roster has enough to offer to be clear in the next few games, which makes the end of the 2020/21 season a little easier to endure.
In any case, some players, like Wilfried Zaha, will finally want to fly the Eagles Nest, and so the South Londoner’s starting XIs could look very different at the start of next season.
Patrick van Aanholt is another player who could be on his way out of Selhurst Park. According to Football Insider, the left-back is already in talks with an as yet undisclosed Champions League club.
In the summer out of contract, the 30-year-old can sign a pre-contractual agreement with other interested parties.
