Palacio excellent as Inter win title
39-year-old Bologna striker Rodrigo Palacio turned back the years with a classic performance against Fiorentina.
His team may have drawn the game 3-3, but Palacio (10) wasn’t to blame. He scored the three goals from three shots, used eight crosses and had eight hits in the opposing penalty area.
His teammate Emanuel Vignato (9.5) joins him after providing all three templates for Palacio.
Joaquin Correa (8.8) completed the top three places and scored two goals as Lazio’s hopes for a top four result were bolstered by a big 4-3 win over Genoa.
In midfield, Frank Kessie (8.1) from Milan showed a typical outstanding performance in the 2-0 win against Benevento. He didn’t make the scoreboard or register a submission, but it was an insured achievement that keeps Milan in the top four as he misplaced only four of 67 passports attempted.
Partners in midfield are Morten Thorsby (8.0) and Nicolo Barella (7.9), both of whom helped their respective teams to victories. Only three players have won more than Thorsby’s 10 duels this weekend.
Giovanni Di Lorenzo (7.8) is right-back after dribbling six times in his draw with Cagliari. This number is the second highest of the game week. He also had 103 touches, the fourth most in the division.
Omar Colley (7.8) and Milan Skriniar (7.9) are the two central defenders.
Federico Dimarco (7.8) is left-back.
Between the sticks, it’s Lorenzo Montipo (8.1) from Benevento after he scored a matchweek with nine saves against Milan.
