Patson Daka Leicester Liverpool Chelsea switch battle
Leicester City are reportedly the newest club to show interest in a possible transfer deal for Red Bull Salzburg striker Patson Daka.
The Zambian international is currently one of the most exciting young offensive players in Europe. Not surprisingly, Premier League clubs have kept an eye on him after scoring 34 goals in 42 games in all competitions last season.

Still only 22 years old, it seems clear that Daka has great potential and his prime could still be ahead of him, with a move to a bigger club and a more competitive league certainly not far.
According to the Daily Express, Leicester manager Brendan Rodgers is interested in getting Daka to King Power Stadium but could face a fight with Liverpool and Chelsea.
The Foxes could use looking for a long-term replacement for the aging Jamie Vardy, while Kelechi Iheanacho has been pretty inconsistent, despite reaching good form towards the end of the 2020-21 season.

However, Daka could be more tempted by Liverpool and Chelsea after Leicester again missed out on qualifying for the Champions League.
Liverpool need more firepower at the front after a form decline from Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino last season, while Chelsea could certainly use an upgrade to the disappointing Timo Werner.
Both teams could offer Daka Champions League football and are likely to be major contenders for the Premier League title as well.
The report also mentions Tottenham as a potential candidate for the young striker.
