Ramsey Tomori and Ramos function in information of the day

Campbell drops Ramsey notice, Chelsea hits Tomori deal with Milan and Man United are told to sign Ramos on the news of the day …

Highly rated defender Fikayo Tomori has completed a £ 25m ($ 34m) move from Chelsea to AC Milan

After failing to establish himself under former boss Frank Lampard, Tomori made the big decision to leave the club and switch to Serie A football during the January transfer window.

After impressing during his loan stint at San Siro, the Italians were keen to make his move permanent that summer window and had intense discussions with Chelsea over a possible £ 25m deal.

But now that move is complete and the highly rated defender has signed a four-year deal with the club that was announced in the last few hours by both Chelsea and Milan

“AC Milan is pleased to announce the exercise of the permanent transfer option for Oluwafikayomi Oluwadamilola Tomori from Chelsea,” said a Serie A statement.

“The English defender, who played 22 games and scored one goal last season, will play for the club until June 30, 2025.”

Chelsea’s official website added: “Fikayo Tomori will make a permanent transfer from Chelsea to AC Milan on July 1st.

“The defender spent the second half of last season on loan at Milan but will make that move permanent next month after a deal has been reached between the two clubs.”

It is a great shame to see Tomori leave Chelsea as he has a bright future in the game but now fans are hoping the club will use those funds to create a more established mid-half.

Jamie O’Hara believes Sergio Ramos would be an “ideal” signing for Manchester United this summer window.

After Ole Gunnar Solskjaer finished the season in second place and failed to win the Europa League title, he has to deal with that transfer kitty and give this backline a bit more quality.

The legendary defender is leaving Real Madrid this summer, the La Liga giants announced on Wednesday after failing to sign a new deal with the club, which means clubs across Europe can freely try to strike a deal

Ramos leaves an incredible legacy in Madrid. The 35-year-old has won five La Liga titles, two Copas del Rey, four Supercopas de Espana, four Champions League, three UEFA Super Cups and four Club World Cups.

And O’Hara believes the 35-year-old could have a similar impact as Thiago Silva at Chelsea, with the Brazilian helping the Blues triumph in the Champions League last season.

“When I’m Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, I’ll do everything in my power to get him to the football club – even if it’s only for one season,” said O’Hara at the talkSPORT breakfast this morning.

“He’s a world class center-back, a great player. He is what I think they need. Yes, he’s 35, but he’s fit as a violin.

“I know he had a couple of injuries last season but what a player to try to get to your club.

“He won everything and did everything. I think he could be great for Man United, I really do. “

Sol Campbell has suggested Aaron Ramsey could make a shock return to Arsenal this summer transfer window.

After spending over a decade in the Emirates, Ramsey decided to leave the club a few seasons ago and make a mega-money exchange to Italian giant Juventus, who were keen to offer him a £ 350,000-a-week contract.

That move didn’t really work out, however, and there has been a lot of speculation in the media that it could create a stunning return to the Emirates as Juventus are reportedly ready to get rid of the player.

And amid the speculation, Arsenal legend Campbell insists the midfielder has stood in the shop window and has hinted that he might return to the Gunners. He told talkSPORT: “Aaron Ramsey does amazing runs. The timings are perfect, it’s amazing. He’s got a knack for getting in there.

“You need the players who come in there. You need these guys who can smell, ‘something is opening up here

“Turkey played back three so Ramsey was just waiting for that gap and [Gareth] Bale found it for the first goal. He’s very intelligent with these runs.

“He works hard, he does great runs. He is a top player of the top class. Maybe he’s in the shop window!

“He could go back to north London a little and see what happens at Arsenal – you never know.”

Sum up…

Ramsey may have a good European Championship but he shouldn’t be signed by the Gunners this season and they would make a huge mistake if they tried to strike a deal
