‘So boring’ – These Arsenal followers react to first-half vs Slavia

0

Some Arsenal fans are furious with the team’s performance in the first half of today’s Europa League knockout tie against Slavia Prague, an encounter that is respectfully very unequal.

The Gunners dominated possession with 59% possession but only registered one shot on target considering the team out there just isn’t good enough.

Arsenal have been accused of showing “no fight”, “desire”, “hunger” and “boredom” by some of their fans after the frustrating 45th minute opening.

The best chance in the opening stages had the prodigy Bukayo Saka but the 19-year-old somehow got the ball far out with a terrible finish and gave the team a great opportunity to take the lead.

Here’s how some of the Arsenal believers reacted to the team’s performance in the first half:

Honestly, if that’s good enough for Mikel to fire him. He’s so happy that there aren’t any fans there who are booed

No fight
Do not feel like
No intention
Not hungry
No intensity
No provision
No aggression
No passion

So boring to look at. If we want to win this game and win subsequent games and go far further in this competition, we have a lot to do. ?

Are you supposed to warm up before the game?

Saka has been looking away for about a month now

Arteta actually makes us so boring. I’m really bored watching Arsenal games. I’ve never been bored watching Arsenal in my life, but this manager is so negative in the way we play

– AFC MP (@AFCPEARTE) April 8, 2021

Let us all disappoint over and over again. ??
Give us health risks because we are supporters.
Let’s scream and curse on TV to make our relatives think we’re crazy. ???
Plus many more …

Players don’t play with hunger and desire…. I don’t see us competing with such a top team.

What’s wrong with the players? Arteta can no longer be blamed!

Worrying display! Are the players tired or do they not understand the coaching tactics? Wow at home and we seem to be bossed around. Bad bad attitude fromome the players for the last two games

The display did Mikel Arteta a disservice. It really isn’t a good sign when a Premier League team that has big ambitions after years of misery is struggling to get things done or is just plain negative.

The North London team have to be much better in the second half of the tie if the really serious thing is to get the most out of the home game, otherwise tonight’s slow start could ruin the entire tie …
