Spurs supplied deal to West Ham trialist Browne
According to Football Insider, Tottenham Hotspur has offered Birmingham City’s potential client Rico Browne a deal that is also a target for London rival West Ham.
Football Insider reports that Spurs made an offer to Browne after a trial last month. The ace was verbally presented with an 18-month contract, which does not have to be followed by a written offer.
The 17-year-old is currently on trial with the Hammers. The center-back arrives at West Ham on Monday. The ace can play in the games of the youth team.
Football Insider added that Spurs took the plunge for Browne after a trial period in which the defender impressed against heated rivals Arsenal.
Even so, it is claimed that the hammers are in pole position with the prospect’s signing.

Birmingham, a club that has been ruthlessly run for a while, are trying to revamp their setup and effectively close their academy in favor of the B and C teams. Brentford works with this model.
This means that Browne is available to exit. He wouldn’t be the only blues talent to leave for a Premier League club this season as Calum Scanlon joined Liverpool in January for a deal worth around £ 500,000.
Browne has played in the FA Youth Cup three times in the past 15 months.
