Tottenham Hotspur is watching Joachim Andersen after his impressive performance for Fulham in the Premier League this season.

The 24-year-old defender has signed a quality partnership with Tosin Adarabioyo and Manchester United and Leicester City are also monitoring his situation.

According to the telegraphLyon could sell the player on a permanent basis this summer for a fee of around £ 25million.

The transfer could prove to be a big bargain if Spurs can win the defender for that price.

Jose Mourinho needs to add depth to his central defense and Andersen would be an excellent match.

He has already adapted to the Premier League and could have an immediate impact on Spurs next season.

Davinson Sanchez has been linked with a Spurs departure and Andersen could be his replacement.

Toby Alderweireld is Spurs’ main center-back right now and Andersen could forge an impressive partnership with him.

Joe Rodon and Japhet Tanganga are young and need more time to develop into regular starters for the Premier League club.

Some Tottenham fans took to Twitter to share their thoughts on the possible Andersen signing, and here’s what they had to say.

That’s a bargain. Sanches was almost twice as tall.
