West Ham eager about Hibernian left-back Josh Doig
West Ham was mentioned by The Athletic as a potential candidate for Hibernian left-back Josh Doig.
19-year-old Doig established himself as a key player in the Scottish Premiership team Hibernian at a young age.
The full-back won the SFWA Young Player of the Year for the 2020/21 season and was inducted into the SPFL Premiership Team of the Year.
After so impressing in his first season at the highest level, it is no surprise that he is signed by English clubs to sign him.

According to The Athletic, Europa League team West Ham are keen to sign Doig this summer, but they are not alone in the race.
Watford and Nottingham Forest are said to be interested too, though the newly promoted Hornets acquired a left-back in Danny Rose just a month ago.
Whether the Hammers can take control in the race to sign Doig or whether he will appreciate the peace of mind of playing for Nottingham Forest week after week remains to be seen.
From Hibernian’s point of view, money will speak, and West Ham has that in abundance.
