West Ham taking a look at Championship star as Lingard different
With just over three weeks to go to West Ham against Newcastle at St James’ Park, David Moyes doesn’t seem to waste time trying to convince Man United’s Jesse Lingard to move permanently to East London.
According to the Manchester United official website, Lingard wants to stay at the club and fight for his place so the Hammers have no choice but to look elsewhere.

To that end, Claret and Hugh report that West Brom star Matheus Pereira is viewed by Moyes as a viable alternative, with the player having a profile similar to Lingard.

With 11 goals in 33 games and six assists last season, the Brazilian was one of the few bright spots in an overall disappointing season for the Baggies.
