One of their ongoing problems has been finding the long-term replacement for Lukasz Fabianski in goal and a report from Mundo Deportivo has shown that Barcelona’s substitute Neto is a serious target for them.

He’s been a major starter for Fiorentina and Valencia on both sides of the spells with Juventus and Barca so the quality and experience is there as he turns 32 in the summer but that’s often when goalkeepers peak .

It is also worth noting that he has played in European competition 34 times in his career. So that’s almost all of the experience of a season that he has to incorporate into the Europa League campaign, and that has to be taken into account when making new signings.
